So what happens when our van battery runs low?
We were in LA, and after a couple of cloudy days our battery was under twenty percent. Our solar panels just weren’t keeping up, and we need power for the fridge. So we found some EV chargers at a community center. We have this transformer that lets our house battery charge from an EV charger, which is pretty cool.
We got about five hundred watts coming in. We hung out in the van for about two hours, and Rina worked on her crochet. Honestly, it’s nice to have a backup when the sun isn’t cooperating.
