YellowstoneWhat a National Park Is Really Like With a Little Kid in a Van

So what's a national park actually like with a little kid in a van?
Honestly, we usually only have time to do one thing at a national park. Everything gets planned around Spencer’s naps, and we try to drive while he’s sleeping. In Yellowstone everything is so far apart, so that’s tough.
At Old Faithful we grabbed showers at the lodge for about five dollars each, which isn’t bad. Then we got barbecue at the cafeteria, and the geyser was still going off when we sat down with our food. It’s a lot slower than when it was just Rina and me, but that’s the reality.
